Mike (dubbed the "Baby Sandman" by one of his grateful students) has devoted his life to helping other parents solve their hardest child rearing problems. Starting with his experiences with his own children, his skills have been sharpened by his work with the children of friends, family and neighbors.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Mike has spent many years of his life developing his learning and analytical skills. His schooling background includes a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an M.B.A. and J.D. from Villanova University, LL.M. studies at the University of Miami, and classes at the University of North Texas towards an M.S. in Computer Science.

To put it simply, he's a lifetime student of just about everything. This man loves to learn, a love that is surpassed only by his desire to pass on this knowledge to anyone who needs it.

So where did this book start? After experiencing more than his fair share of challenges trying to get his first child (Mick) to sleep through the night, he began a quest to learn every tip and trick that anyone had ever written about, put into a video, or made into a product.

The culmination of this quest was not only a roomful of books, cassettes, CDs, video tapes, and gadgets; it was the book Amazing Baby Sleep Secrets.
